Our Paper Receives the ASME IGTI Best Paper Award

ASME Turbo Expo Conference is a yearly event organized by the ASME International Gas Turbine Institute (IGTI). It is the prime venue for turbomachinery and gas turbine related research and provides the framework to present and discuss the advancements and achievements in the field.

During the conference of the year 2020, which was held online on September 21st-25th, one of our papers was nominated to receive the Best Paper Award from Heat Transfer Committee of ASME IGTI. The paper, authored by Tapish Agarwal, Maximilian Stratmann, Simon Julius and Assoc. Prof. Beni Cukurel, and titled “Exploring Applicability of Acoustic Heat Transfer Enhancement Across Various Perturbation Elements”, deals with characterization of acoustic heat transfer enhancement potential and its sensitivity to various flow and geometric parameters.
